Adjustable Productions are teaming up with Kunaki.com to provide an innovative way for fans in North America to get hold of the “The Angel and Daniel Johnston – Live at the Union Chapel”.
Unfortunately Kunaki.com does not yet have the facility to take pre-orders. However, by submitting your email address in the box below, during the first week of December we shall send you an email containing a link that takes you directly to the product ordering page.

What is the difference between the European the North American releases?
The content between the two versions is almost identical. Every part of the North American version has been rendered from the original project timeline directly into the native NTSC format.
The main difference is in the delivery format. Kunaki manufactures each unit on demand in their specialised facility based in New York. Their fully automated process takes secure payments, and then uses an industrial system to put the film onto a high quality DVD-R. This is then surface printed in full colour, inserted into a standard DVD case (with a full colour cover and cellophane wrap) before they box it up and courier it to your address via your chosen method of delivery.
The final product looks much like any other retail DVD. For the casual observer, the only real differences between the two releases will be in the inlay (which in the North American version shall be a single one-sided sheet), and the colour of the under side of the disc, which shall be purple.
We understand that some may be a little disappointed that we have not been able to make a “silver” DVD version of the product available to the North American fans. However, we see our partnership with Kunaki as opening up our product to a whole new set of Daniel’s fans and a sign of great things to come for Independent filmmakers. While Adjustable has managed self-publishing “silver” DVDs in the UK, the logistics of doing the same in North America are a lot more challenging. It could have taken quite some considerable time to come to pass. We feel that now is the time to bring this film to the fans, and we believe that Kunaki are a fine organisation that can deliver an alternative kind of quality product. We hope fans will treasure this release and that it will bring them pleasure for many years to come.
